Parliamentary hearing regarding the nomination of Supreme Court (SC) judges has begun.
A meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) today has already completed hearings over the recommendations of Deepak Kumar Karki and Kedar Prasad Chalise.
Today's PHSC meeting is expected to conduct hearings over the nomination of Sharada Prasad Ghimire, Meera Khadka and Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha as well.
The Judicial Council last April recommended seven names of the appellate court judges and names of four senior advocates for the appointments as SC judges.RSS
