Two children, aged 6 and 8, died in a house fire at Shodasha village in ward 6 of Mellekh Rural Municipality on Monday. 

According to the District Police Office in Achham, six-year-old Gopal Bohara, the son of Ramesh Bohara, and eight-year-old Bhawana Bohara, the daughter of Dipak Bohara, died when fire gutted a thatch-roof house belonging to Khamma Bohara. 

 A month ago, two children were burnt to death when an animal shed caught fire at ward 4 of Mellekh Rural Municipality.
