Police arrested a man from Mangalsen Municipality-14 on charge of raping his 12-year-old daughter.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Santosh Pathak, the suspect was held on Saturday after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint with the police.

The man, under the influence of alcohol, allegedly raped the victim when she was alone at home.

Detailed investigation is underway into the incident, said police.
