Three bodies recovered from Bajhang avalanche

The bodies of three people who went missing following an avalanche at Dhanseri Himal highland in Surma Rural Municipality of Bajhang district have been recovered.
According to police, the bodies of a 40-year-old woman from Surma-3, an 18-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl from Jayaprithvi Municipality-11, who went missing on Sunday have been found.
Three people were injured in the incident and are receiving treatment at Bajhang District Hospital.
Ramesh Awasthi, spokesperson of Bajhang District Police Office, said a police team deployed from the headquarters and the locals brought the bodies from the highland to headquarters.
A post-mortem is being conducted at the district hospital, said Awasthi.
