Prohibitory order issued in Dhangadi

District Administration Office (DAO), Kailali, has issued a prohibitory order in Dhangadhi from Thursday 7pm to Friday 7pm.
In aftermath of the protest that broke out as a girl died after being crushed by a grader on Thursday morning, the district administration office issued the order to maintain law and order, read the statement issued by DAO Kailali.
Deputy Superintendent Bed Prakash Joshi, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kailali, said that the prohibitory order was issued to prevent further deterioration of the peace and security situation.
Gathering of more than five individuals at a place and driving are prohibited.
A fourteen-year-old girl has been killed after being run-over by a grader in Dhangadi.
According to Joshi of the District Police Office, the grader owned by Kalika Construction was leveling the road near Hasanpur Pipal Chautara when it ran over the fourteen-year-old while backing up.
The girl, an eighth-grade student of Hasanpur-based Panchodaya Secondary School, died on the spot, police said.
The police have taken grader operator Bimal Kumal, 27, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chitwan, into custody following the incident and investigation is underway.
