Girl killed after being run-over by a grader in Dhangadhi

A fourteen-year-old girl has been killed after being run-over by a grader in Dhangadhi on Thursday.
According to Deputy Superintendent Bed Prakash Joshi of the District Police Office, the grader owned by Kalika Construction was leveling the road near Hasanpur Pipal Chautara when it ran over the fourteen-year-old while backing up.
The girl, an eighth-grade student of Hasanpur-based Panchodaya Secondary School, died on the spot, police said.
The police have taken grader operator Bimal Kumal, 27, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chitwan, into custody following the incident and investigation is underway.
