Nisarga Batika School is set to organise the first edition of Nisarga Warriors Basketball League Championship 2026, an inter-school basketball tournament.

The championship starts on May 23 through June 21, 2026. All matches will be held at the school’s Machhagate Basketball Court and High School Basketball Court. Eight schools will compete in a round robin league format, where every team faces every other participant, with standings determined by points earned through victories.

All matches will be conducted under official FIBA rules and regulations, organisers said in a statement on Thursday.

“For student athletes, the tournament is a platform to showcase talent, sharpen skills, and gain real match experience under competitive conditions,” the statement reads. “For schools, it is a chance to build lasting relationships grounded in sportsmanship and mutual respect.

Through this championship, said a spokesperson for the school, “we want young athletes to experience what it means to compete with discipline, lead with character, and grow through every game—win or lose.”
