‘Radio on Wheels’ rolls into Pokhara

Radio Kantipur’s road show ‘Radio on Wheels’, with Xtreme Energy as the main sponsor, has arrived in Pokhara. The journey, which began in Nepalgunj, reached Pokhara via Dhangadhi, Surkhet, and Butwal.
Prior to the road show at Traffic Chowk in Butwal, a mini road show programme was held at Siddhartha International College. In Pokhara, a mini road show will also be organised at Pokhara University on Friday morning. After that, a special programme will be held at Hallan Chowk in Lakeside, Pokhara after 4pm.
Participants in Radio on Wheels will get the opportunity to win a special package of 4 nights and 5 days along with tickets to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in February–March, including round-trip transportation facilities.
According to the organisers, the names and contact numbers of participants who purchase Xtreme or Max Tiger energy drinks at the event locations will be included in a lucky draw. One lucky winner from each of the 15 locations will win the World Cup package.
In the programme held in Butwal, local resident Sushma Aryal won the attractive package including World Cup tickets. She is the first woman so far to win it.
Previously, Dipak Khadka of Birendranagar, Surkhet, Bharat Bahadur Chand of Dhangadhi, and Tikaram Guragain of Nepalgunj had emerged as winners.
This Pokhara edition of the road show will feature performances of songs, music, and dance by singers Shiva Pariyar and Bishwo Nepali, comedian Raja Rajendra Pokharel, Dance Champion Nepal winner Barsha Phuyal, and Season-1 winner Rosika Raut.
After Pokhara, the road show will head east via Chitwan (Narayanghat), Hetauda, and Bardibas, to Gaighat.
The title sponsor of the programme is Xtreme Energy Drinks, while it is powered by Nepal Life Insurance, Global IME Bank, and TVS Raider. The internet partner is Wi-Fi Nepal, snacks partner Rijals Namkeen, lubricant partner Servo, furniture partner Sofa Hub Kathmandu and bonding partner is Rathicol. Event Nepal has taken responsibility for managing the programme.
