Radio Kantipur’s road show 'Radio on Wheels' reached Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City of Lumbini Province on Tuesday.

The programme reached Butwal after a mini Radio on Wheels event among students of DV Niketan in Surkhet. Radio presenters Mahima Bhattarai and Prajwal Khadka interacted with the students, while singer Bishwo Nepali and comedian Raja Rajendra Pokharel delivered live performances. And students who gave correct answers to various questions won prizes.

The Radio on Wheels programme, which began in Nepalgunj, has reached Butwal via Dhangadhi and Surkhet.

A mini road show will be organised on Wednesday morning at Siddhartha International College, followed by the main event in the evening at Traffic Chowk, Butwal. After Butwal, the programme will be held at Lakeside, Pokhara, on Friday.

Participants of Radio on Wheels this time are getting a chance to win an attractive package including tickets to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in February–March. For this, the names and mobile numbers of those who purchase Xtreme or Max Tiger Energy Drinks at all 15 event locations will be included in a lucky draw.

One lucky winner from each location will win a T20 World Cup package, which includes match tickets, a 4 nights/5 days special package, and round-trip transportation.

Dipak Khadka of Birendranagar, Bharat Bahadur Chand of Dhangadhi and Tikaram Guragain of Nepalgunj have won the packages already.

This year’s road show has performances by singers Shiva Pariyar and Bishwo Nepali, comedian Raja Rajendra Pokharel, Dance Champion Nepal winner Barsha Phuyal, and Dance Champion Season 1 winner Rosika Raut, presenting songs, music, and dance.
