Dipak Khadka wins T20 World Cup package at Radio on Wheels in Surkhet

The seventh edition of Radio Kantipur’s annual road show ‘Radio on Wheels’ held its musical programme in Birendranagar, Surkhet, on Monday.
The event featured performances by comedian Raja Rajendra Pokharel, singer Bishwo Nepali, Dance Champion Nepal winner Barsha Phuyal, and Dance Champion Season 1 winner Rosika Rawat, among others.
The road show, which began in Nepalgunj on Saturday, reached Surkhet via Dhangadhi on Sunday. The nearly four-hour-long programme, which was held at the Ghantaghar area in Birendranagar, saw enthusiastic participation from the audience, with cheers and applause echoing across the surrounding area. Various interactive games, including quizzes, also entertained the crowd.
During the programme, Dipak Khadka of Birendranagar Municipality’s ward 12 was selected as the winner through a lucky draw. He received a ticket to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup to be held in Mumbai, sponsored by Xtreme Energy Drink and Max Tiger Energy Drinks. Similar tickets will be awarded to one lucky winner in each city where the programme is held through a lucky draw.
Audience members also received gifts from other sponsors, while Radio Kantipur presenters Mahima Bhattarai and Prajwal Khadka kept the atmosphere lively and engaging throughout the event.
Radio On Wheels will reach Kathmandu on January 22 after touring 14 cities across the country. The road show will now be organised in Butwal, Pokhara, Narayanghat, Dharan, Janakpur, Birtamod, Itahari, Biratnagar, Lahan and Hetauda before concluding in the capital city.
