Pushpanjali Secondary School won the second edition of the Kavya Inter-School Scout Futsal Tournament, defeating Bhanudaya School 8-5 in the final on Friday.

The three-day tournament between eight teams in a league-cum-knockout format saw Dikshalaya securing a 9-2 victory over Vidhyabani Pathsala for third place. 

In individual categories, Pranil Bhusan Dahal of Vidhyabani Pathsala received the Rising Star Award.

Puspanjali’s Ramit Rai, Yujal Rai and Samarpan Tamang got the awards for Highest Scorer, Most Valuable Player and Best Goalkeeper, respectively.

Puspanjali’s Sonam Sudan Rai was the Best Coach while Vidhyabani Pathsala received the Fair Play award.

According to Kavya School, the hosts, the tournament was a vibrant platform for young players to display their sporting skills, foster healthy competition and form lasting friendships.
