The Cricket Association of Nepal and Kuwait Cricket Board have agreed to organise a minimum of three T20Is and additional 50-over matches every year.
According to the partnership, which was reached during the ICC Annual Conference in Singapore, both men’s and women’s teams will benefit from the bilateral series to be played on a home-and-away basis from 2026.
“The partnership marks a major milestone in the growth and development of cricket across Asia,” read a statement issued by CAN on Tuesday.
“The annual series promises to become a key fixture on the Associate cricket calendar and a platform for mutual development and excellence.” Nepal and Kuwait are also in the same group comprising Japan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Asia Regional Qualifiers being hosted by Oman in October.
