Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) organised Asian Games Run for Fun on Friday in Patan. The event was held almost seven months ahead of the Games set to be held in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 8.
According to the NOC, players, coaches and officials of NOC and Ministry of Youth and Sports participated in the run organised to raise awareness about the Asian Games.
Wang Minghua, the deputy director of ceremonies and event department, said that Hangzhou was almost ready to host the event that was postponed by a year owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The run started from Patan Durbar Square and finished at the same point.
