Sankhamul, PrabhatPheri, Sky and Dhuku qualify for NFL finals
The 'A' Division futsal league finals are scheduled to be held from May 8 to 29 at the Pokhara Multipurpose covered hall, where 10 teams from seven provinces will contest for the title.

Sankhamul Futsal, PrabhatPheri Youth Club, Sky Goals and Dhuku Futsal qualified from Bagmati Province for the National Futsal League after they advanced into the semi-finals of the provincial qualifiers on Friday.
Sankhamul defeated Surya Futsal 4-2 in penalty after a 1-1 stalemate, PrabhatPheri beat Stupa Sports 6-3, Sky quashed Kaya Sports 6-2 and Dhuku hammered Prismatic Futsal and RC 9-3 to secure their ticket to Pokhara. The matches were played at Baijanti Futsal in Kathmandu.
Sankhamul will face PrabhatPheri and Sky will meet Dhuku in the last four of the Bagmati qualifiers on Saturday. The final will take place on Sunday. A total of 27 teams from Bagmati had competed in the qualifiers that started on April 7.

Dharan-based clubs Futsal 5 and The Rising Club have already qualified from Province 1 for the Pokhara finals while Lumbini Futsal also secured their berth after emerging victorious in the Provinces 5 and 6 and Sudurpaschim Province joint qualifiers.
Futsal 5 and The Rising had booked their licences after advancing into the final of the Province 1 qualifiers. Futsal beat The Rising 5-4 in penalty shootout after the match tied at 5-5 at Pathivara Futsal in Itahari. Eight teams from the province had contested in the event held from March 14-16. Only two teams were selected from Province 1.
In the final held at Sunrise Sports, Tillotama, Lumbini Futsal had thrashed Jharana Sports Club 7-2 to book the only place allocated from three provinces. The Provinces 5 and 6 and Sudurpaschim Province joint qualifiers, also participated by eight teams, were held from April 1-3.
The qualifiers for Gandaki Province will begin from April 16 to 20 at Sports Castle and Paiyum Sports Centre in Pokhara. Only two teams from Gandaki will qualify for the league finals.
The teams contesting the Pokhara finals will get Rs100,000 each from the All Nepal Football Association as preparatory fees. Each team consists of 14 players and one coach, manager and physiotherapists.
The winners of the tournament will take home a purse of Rs1 million while the runners-up will get half the amount. The best goalkeeper, defender, winger, emerging player and best coach of the tournament will receive Rs25,000 each. The man of the match of each game will get Rs5,000.
The finals will be telecast on Kantipur Television and its digital platform.
