Police clinch Pathivara volleyball title
Nepal Police Club clinched the third Pathivara National Men’s Volleyball Tournament defeating Nepal Army Club at the Mauwakhola Rural Municipality in Taplejung on Thursday.

Nepal Police Club clinched the third Pathivara National Men’s Volleyball Tournament defeating Nepal Army Club at the Mauwakhola Rural Municipality in Taplejung on Thursday.
Police registered a comfortable 25-17, 25-13, 25-19 win over their departmental rivals. Winners Police bagged Rs 351,000 and the runners up Army walked away with Rs 176,251. The two losing semi-finalists Nepal APF Club and Gandaki Province received Rs 50,000 each.
Police team’s open spiker Kul Bahadur Thapa (Hari) was declared the best player of the tournament and won Rs 15,000. His teammates Bishal BK was named best server while skipper Im Bahadur Rana won best setter, Bhim Gaha the best defender, Dipak Raj Joshi the best blocker and Saroj Shrestha the best coach.
Dhan Bahadur Bhatta of Army club was declared the best spiker.
All of them were rewarded with Rs 7,000 each. The tournament was jointly organised by Jaljale Youth Club, New Pathivara Club and Mauwakhola Club.
