Tuladhar, who will leave for Singapore on April 6, was picked up as the best trainee among 70 aspiring young footballers during a Real Madrid Training Camp for U-18 students organised by Subharambha Education and Sports Tour Pvt Ltd last year. The five-day training camp was held at the Modern Indian School grounds from June 5-9 and was conducted by Daniel Landaburu Rotella and Rafael Palacious.
During the five-day training camp, Tuladhar will be provided with the opportunities to assimilate multi-culturally and enjoy a full-day training under top-notch coaches from Real Madrid, informed Subharambha during a press conference on Sunday. “If he manages to make his mark during that training camp, he will also be provided further training opportunities at the U-15 football camp in Real Madrid, Spain,” informed Subharambha Managing Director Bijay Khatri.
“This is the best opportunity for him to showcase his talent and come out as a pure footballer,” added Khatri. Tuladhar is an eighth grader at Rosebud School of Kathmandu. The 15-year old said he will try to make the most of this chance. “I am feeling quite good because I am going to participate in a well facilitated and equipped training camp. I will try to do well there,” the teenager said.
Rosebud School Principal Damodar Dhungana bade farewell to Tuladhar during the programme. “I would like to thank Subharambha for giving such a big opportunity to Bidit. This opportunity is the best thing that could happen to a young aspiring footballer,” said Dhungana.
While the training cost for Tuladhar is provided for free by the Spanish League giants Real Madrid, his transportation and accommodation expenses will be borne by Subharambha. The company said it will cost them around Rs 500,000 to manage the entire programme. Subharambha said it will continue to organise such training every year.
