Tribhuvan University and Golden Gate International College won their respective matches of the University Cup Twenty20 on Monday. In the first match, TU defeated Triton College by 24 runs. Ishan Pandey made a 44-ball 55 not out as TU made 166-6 in 20 overs. Triton, in reply, were restricted to 142-7 after Kshitiz Singh took three wickets. Golden Gate hammered St Xavier’s College by 124 runs. Naresh Budhayer smashed a 62-ball 96 not out as Golden Gate amassed 198-2. Ravi Kumar Sah picked up four wickets as St Xavier’s were 74 all out in 18 overs. (PR)
