Nepali national cricket team skipper Paras Khadka has been honoured with the 1st Madan Bhandari Cricket Samman for his contribution in the development of cricket in the country on Friday.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari conferred the award on Khadka amid a function in the ongoing 1st Cricket Mahotsav organised by Madan Bhandari Sports Academy at Kirtipur Cricket Ground on Friday. The award carries a purse of Rs 25,000.
Academy’s Chairman Binod Shrestha said that the award will be given every year to a person helping in developing cricket in the country.
