Nepali pair of Dipesh Dhami and Shova Gauchan advanced into the mixed doubles final of the Nepal International Series Badminton Championships on Saturday. The duo beat Malaysian pair of Eveshgaran Vasigaran and Dharshinie Vasigaran 21-17, 16-21, 22-20 in the semi-final. Tamang siblings Ratnajit and Nangsal crashed out from the last four after facing straight sets defeat to Indian pair of V Devlekar and Harika Veludurthi 21-16, 21-7. The men’s singles final will be an all-India contest after L Sarang and S Jaiswal emerged victorious in the semi-finals. S Aghaeihajiagha of Iran and Deng Joy Xuan of Hong Kong made it to the women’s singles final. (PR)
