Nepali shuttlers Prince Dahal and Sunil Joshi made it to the main draw in the men’s singles of the Nepal International Series badminton championships on Wednesday.
Dahal beat Subham of India 13-21, 21-12, 21-15 in the first qualifiers before enjoying walkover in the second. Joshi got direct entry for second round of qualifiers and registered a comfortable 21-8, 21-4 win over Jamyang Tenzing of Bhutan.
Former Nepal no 1 Bikash Shrestha crashed out in second qualifiers after a 21-14, 21-18 defeat to Anug Myo Htoo Myo of Myanmar.
