Saroj Sewa and Manish Dangol set the title clash of the Champ of Champions (CoC) on Saturday. In the lighweight 61kg semi-final bouts at Gymkhana in Maharajgunj, Dangol beat Surendra Karki on score, while Sewa knocked out Yadav Thapa in the second round. It was mission accomplished for Sewa who had retaliated at Thapa’s verbal jab during the faceoff on Thursday claiming he would win the match in just two rounds. The final of country’s first professional boxing fight is scheduled for February 1. The champion will get Rs 200,000 and opportunity to train in Belgium and play in the Belgian Professional Boxing League. (PR)
