Nepal take on hosts Thailand on the inaugural day of the Asian zone ICC Women’s World Twenty20 in Bangkok on Monday.
The top two teams after the round robin league, in the six-nation event, will meet in the final and qualify for 2018 ICC Women's World T20 Global Qualifiers in the Netherlands. Apart from Nepal and hosts Thailand, others in the fray include Hong Kong, China, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Malaysia. Nepal next play Hong Kong the following day before tackling the UAE on Thursday, Malaysia on Friday and China on Sunday. Top two teams from the round robin league will play for the title on November 27. (PR)
