Nepal lost 2-0 against Kyrgyzstan in their opening match of the U-19 Championship Qualifiers in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday.
The host nation took the lead in the 21st minute when Borubaev Gulzhigit converted on a swift attack.
Shukurov Alimardon doubled the lead in the 95th minute when Nepali goalkeeper Arpan Karki failed to clear the ball allowing Alimardon to capitalise the counter attack.
Nepal are pitted in Group ‘A’ of the Qualifiers that consists of the hosts, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Oman.
Nepal will play against Bahrain on November 2. They then meet UAE in the penultimate match on November 4 and wrap up the campaign two days later against Oman on November 8.
