Nepal on Monday trimmed the squad to 18 members for the upcoming ICC U-19 World Cup Division-1 Asian Qualifier event.
Sandeep Lamichhane, Anil Kumar Sah, Sushang Singh Thapa, Bikram Kumar Bhusal, Prakash KC, Pawan Sarraf, Sundeep Jora, Rijan Dhakal, Pranit Thapa Magar, Shahab Alam, Rashid Khan, Aasif Sheikh, Sandeep Sunar, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Rohit Kumar Paudel, Aadil Khan and Dipendra Singh Airee made the cut.
The tournament is the gateway to the 2018 U-19 World Cup. Nepal open with a clash against hosts Singapore on July 17. Nepal then play Malaysia (July 18, 24) and Afghanistan (July 20, 25) before playing Singapore against for the second time on July 21. Only the top team qualify for the U-19 World Cup in New Zealand.
