Binod Tamang claimed boys’ U-16 category gold in the Olympic Day Junior Golf Tournament at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Sunday.
He carded one-under 33 to finish four strokes ahead of Subsang Ghising.
Sam Doublard earned bronze with a four-over 38 in the event played under stroke play format without handicap. Sadbhav Acharya took home gold in boys’ U-12 category.
He played 10-over 44. In the girls’ event Kasmira Shah (three-over 37) and Bhumi Baniya (18-over 52) claimed gold and silver medals. (PR)
