Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Club hammerd Milan club by seven wickets in the inaugural match of the Attariya Cup Women’s Twenty20 cricket tournament on Thursday.
Batting first, Milan scored 93-4 in their allotted 20 overs before APF chased down the total for the loss of three wickets in 15.5 overs.
Adaswati Chaudhary top scored with an unbeaten 21 for Milan Club.
In reply, Jyoti Pandey single-handedly steered the departmental team to victory with an unbeaten half century. Player-of-the-match Pandey struck nine fours in her 47-ball 55.
The champions will earn Rs 200,000 and the runners-up will get Rs 100,000. The player-of-the-series will also bag Rs 25,000.
