Homlal Shrestha of Nepali Army won the third Lumbini Peace Marathon on Sunday.
Shrestha timed 2:22:36 to win the 42.195km run leaving behind Gopi Chandra Parki of APF Club in second and Khagendra Bhat of Army in third. Parki clocked 2:24:24 and Bhat timed 2:24:41.
Shrestha earned Rs 100,000, Parki received Rs 75,000 and Bhat got Rs 50,000.
