Bishnu Bhandari claimed the Gokarna annual caddie competition at Gokarna Golf Club on Tuesday.

Bhandari carded 10-over 82 for a one stroke victory over Narayan Chaulagai and Krishna Murari Sapkota. Bhandari earned Rs 16,000. Chaulagai and Sapkota received Rs 9,500 apiece after both the caddies carded an identical 11-over 83. Parmendra Singh and Sumber Shrestha shared fourt place at 16-over 88. Both got Rs 6,000 each.

Bharat Thapa Magar finished in sixth at 89 and earned ot Rs 4,500. Deepak Rana scored 90 to secure seventh place and earned Rs 4,000. Balaram Poudel (91), Devendra Pandey (93), and Basudev Pudasaini (94) rouned up inside top 10 and also received their share of cash prizes. Sapkota also won closest-to-the-pin awad and Bharat Thapa Magar the longest drive honour.
