The Women Empowerment Committee of Nepal Taekwondo Association is organising the first Women’s International Taekwondo Championship at the National Sports Council covered ball on April 23-24. Players from India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will compete against the local players in 13 events over two days, informed the tournament coordinator Nanda Bashyal. Players who struck gold during the seventh National Games are not allowed to participate in the tournament where Nepal will field 96 players. (PR)
