Nepal crashed out of Saff Women’s Championship after losing 3-1 against India in Siliguri India on Monday.
This was Nepal's fourth defeat—seventh overall—against the Indian side in the Saff championship. Nepal has lost in finals of the previous three editions of the competition against India.
India led just before half time with Kamaladevi scoring on 44th minute. The doubled their lead on 59th minute with Indumati's goal. Nepal cut the deficit to a goal after Sabitra Bhandari scored on a penalty on 75th minute. Nepal's comeback chances were dashed when Sasmita Mallik scored third goal for India.
