Nepal remained unchanged in the world rankings clinging on to 181st spot in the Fifa rankings published on Wednesday.
Fresh from the AFC Soldarity Cup win in Malaysia, Nepal are ahead of Bangladesh (185), Sri Lanka (195) and Pakistan (197) among the South Asian nations.
Bhutan (171) are ahead of Nepal. India lead the rankings among the South Asians at 135th spot, climbing 31 places up.
Afghanistan, who have already decided to pull out of the regional sports, are 146th and Maldives 154th.
Argentina are top of the world and behind them are Brazil, Germany, Chile and Belgium.
