Pitted in Group ‘D’, Nepal will meet Iraq, Kuwait and Japan in the Asiad.

Lalitpur
The Nepal team includes goalkeepers Alan Neupane, Bikesh Kuthu and Dinesh Thapa Magar, defenders Rohit Chand, Aditya Chaudhary, Ajit Bhandari, Sandip Rai, Sagar Thapa and Rabin Shrestha, midfielders Heman Gurung, Sushil KC, Shyam Nepali, Bikram Lama, Prakash Budhathoki and Jagjeet Shrestha. Amar Dangol, Asim Jung Karki, Bharat Khawas and Bimal Gharti Magar are the forwards. Gharti Magar will join the squad in Bangkok, team’s transit point. Jack Stefanowski is the team coach, while Ritesh Thapa is the assistant and goalkeeping coach.
