Woman dies in tiger attack in Bardiya

A woman died in a tiger attack in Madhuwan Municipality-3 of Bardiya district on Friday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Hikmat Bahadur Bohora, 52-year-old Kamal Banshi died after being attacked by the feline at around 4pm. Banshi had gone to the Samjhana Community Forest to collect fodder.
The body of the victim was recovered at around 5pm and has been sent to the district headquarters in Gulariya for postmortem, police said.
