Chandrakant Bhandari of the Nepali Congress has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Gulmi-1.
Bhandari garnered 33,358 votes, defeating CPN-UML’s Election Department Chief and party standing committee member Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.
Bhandari was elected as a House of Representatives member from the constituency by a margin of 1,635 votes.
Gyawali received 31,723 votes.
