Tyre explosion kills one in Hetauda

A man died, and five others were injured when a tyre exploded during repairs in Hetauda.
The District Police Office, Makwanpur, identified the deceased as 34-year-old Mohammad Aijaz, a resident of India, who operated a tyre repair shop in Hetauda-11.
According to police, the incident occurred around 1 am on Tuesday as Aijaz was refilling air in the tyre of a fuel tanker. He suffered severe injuries to his head and left side of his body and later died during treatment in Chitwan.
Five others were injured in the incident.
Police said one injured is receiving treatment at Chure Hill Hospital, while the other four were discharged after treatment.
