Round Table Nepal (RTN) has distributed essential relief supplies to more than 3,000 families affected by the recent floods across various parts of Nepal. The large-scale initiative provided food, groceries, clothes, blankets, medicines, and monetary assistance to flood victims in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchok, Makwanpur, and Jhapa.
With a total relief fund exceeding Rs 65000, RTN, supported by its members and volunteers, ensured that the most vulnerable families received the assistance needed to help them regain stability in the aftermath of the floods. The aid distribution included food and essential groceries to ensure adequate nutrition for affected families, clothes, and blankets to offer protection and warmth, medicines and healthcare supplies to address urgent medical needs, and monetary assistance to support families in rebuilding their lives.
A key highlight of the initiative was the involvement of Miss Nepal Ashma KC, whose participation helped raise awareness and increase community support for the relief efforts. “Our mission was to address the immediate needs of flood-affected families, ensuring they had access to basic necessities during this difficult time,”said Pravesh Agrawal, president of Round Table Nepal. “By uniting as a community, we aimed to provide some relief and stability to those in need.”
The relief distribution took place across multiple locations in the affected districts, as part of RTN’s broader commitment to supporting communities impacted by natural disasters and socio-economic challenges.
