Woman found dead in Panauti

A woman was found dead near a field in Panauti, Kavre, on Tuesday morning, police said.
The body was discovered around 6:15 am near a dairy in ward 4 of Panauti Municipality, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Shrestha, the information officer at the District Police Office, Kavre.
The deceased has been identified as Shanti Tamang, in her late 30s, originally from Salle in ward 11 of Banepa Municipality, who had been living in a rented house behind Kumari Bank in Panauti-4.
Her 15-year-old son, Sanjay Tamang, identified the body.
Police said they are further investigating the case.
