Landslide blocks Prithvi Highway
Efforts to clear the road underway amid continuous rainfall.

Chitwan
A landslide at Ghoptebhir in ward 4 of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality near Kurintar, has blocked the Prithvi Highway on Friday morning.
According to Police Inspector Laxman KC of the District Police Office, Chitwan the road was obstructed by a mudslide at around 7:30 am.
He said efforts to clear the landslide are underway in coordination with the Road Division Office.
Chitwan has been experiencing light rain since the morning.
