A 90-year-old woman died in a rhino attack in ward 10 of Kawasoti Municipality in Nawalparasi East on Tuesday.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Bahadur Paudel, Jagari Maya Mahato of Ratwal died in the incident.

The rhino gored and injured her critically in Krishnasar Buffer Zone Community Forest as the victim went there to graze her sheep.

Mahato succumbed to injuries in Madhyabindu Hospital.
