Police constable dies in road accident, three others injured

A police constable was killed in a road accident in Hetauda on Wednesday.
Constable Binod Aidi, stationed at the Bagmati Province battalion in Hetauda, had sustained serious injuries after a motorcycle collided with him during his morning run in Thanabharyang section of the East-West Highway.
The 25-year-old died in the course of treatment at the Hetauda Hospital, police said.
Motorcyclist Laxman Lama, and two other police constables Nawaraj Sarki, and Vijay Khatri were also injured in the accident.
Lama, who sustained injuries to the head and hands, has been taken to the Chitwan Medical College for further treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxmi Bhandari.
