One person was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Hetauda late on Sunday.

Twenty-two-year-old Mahen Thapa Magar died after the motorcycle he lost control of his motorcycle near the Rapti Bridge in Thana Bharyang, said Laxmi Bhandari, spokesperson for the district police office.

Two other people, riding pillion, also sustained injuries. Of them, one has been reffered to Bharatpur.
