Umesh Shrestha is second with 3,216 votes and RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane is placed third receiving 2,978 votes.

CPN-UML candidate Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel has maintained his lead in the election race in Chitwan-2 with 3,623 votes as of 12:20pm on Tuesday.
Pokhrel is followed by Umesh Shrestha of the Nepali Congress with 3,216 votes.
Meanwhile, Rastriya Swatantra Party chair Rabi Lamichhane has garnered 2,978 votes as per the latest vote count update.
Pokhrel was elected House of Representative member from the constituency in the 2017 polls.
