Prakash Man Singh re-elected from Kathmandu-1
Singh defeats his closest rival Rabindra Mishra of Rastriya Prajatantra Party by a margin of 125 votes.

Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has been re-elected a member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-1.
Singh defeated his closest rival Rabindra Mishra of Rastriya Prajatantra Party by a margin of 125 votes. Singh received 7,143 votes, while Mishra got 7,018 votes.
Singh had defeated Mishra also in the earlier polls.
In the first general elections held following the promulgation of the new constitution, NC’s Singh had won with 10,936 votes while Mishra, contesting on behalf of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, had received 10,118 votes.
