Two men were found dead in a septic tank in ward 4 of Duhabi Municipality, Sunsari, police said.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Yogaraj Khatri, the bodies of 50-year-old contractor Shyam Bahadur Tamang and 32-year-old worker Ramesh Rai were recovered from a septic tank at an under-construction house owned by Chandrika Rauniyar near Shiva Mandir Chowk.
Locals informed police after spotting the bodies. Officers from the Duhabi Area Police Office have started an investigation. A forensic team from Dharan has been called to assist with further examination.
