Two people have died in separate incidents in Sankhuwasabha.
In Sabhapokhari Rural Municipality-6, a tractor carrying sand reportedly went out of control and fell 60 metres off the road into a stream, killing its driver.
Police said 19-year-old Rabi Baraili of Chainpur Municipality-6, who was seriously injured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment on Friday morning.
Similarly, 27-year-old Upendra Rai of Makalu Rural Municipality-6 was electrocuted while working on a rural electrification project.
He was taken to Sankhuwasabha District Hospital, where he was declared dead on Thursday night. Police said he was electrocuted while working without turning off the power supply.
