All the postpaid, prepaid, and landline phone connections and internet services of Nepal Telecom have been disrupted in Sankhuwasabha since Saturday. 

The glitch in the services was caused by damage to the fibre-optic cable in the Kharang forest area of the district. 

According to Prem Rai, head of the Sankhuwasabha branch of Nepal Telecom, technicians are repairing the damage, but difficult topography has made the work challenging. 

Work and services of the offices and organisations located at district headquarters in Khandbari, and the Tumlingtar Airport, among others, have been affected due to the disruption.
