Rastriya Swatantra Party’s extended central committee meeting kicks off in Sauraha

The extended central committee meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party began in Sauraha, Chitwan, on Friday. Acting chair DP Aryal inaugurated the meeting by ringing a bell, while vice-chair Swarnim Wagle hoisted the national flag.
Discussions over today and tomorrow will be conducted in seven groups. Participants include central committee members and office-bearers, central commission officials, provincial committee leaders, district and electoral constituency committee chairs, and party chiefs from municipalities. A total of 512 members are expected to attend.
During the meeting, acting chair Aryal will present the political report and general secretary Kabindra Burlakoti the organisational report. Vice-chair Swarnim Wagle will seek suggestions for the election manifesto. The meeting will discuss candidacy calls for the proportional representation system and selection procedures.
