Kathmandu University (KU) has been ranked 122nd in the HE Higher Education Ranking 2026 edition.
The certificate, signed by HE Higher Education Ranking Secretary Nour Abduljalil, states that KU’s position reflects its commitment to academic excellence and innovation. It also congratulates the university’s leadership, faculty, staff, students and alumni for their collective efforts and passion for education.
The ranking document lists KU’s score at 6,828 points. It identifies the institution as an autonomous university established in 1991, operating with the motto ‘quality education for leadership.’KU is the third-oldest university in Nepal.
