RSP wins 125 FPTP seats, maintains wide lead in proportional representation vote count

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has consolidated its lead in the House of Representatives election, winning 125 FPTP seats, making it the largest party in the House.
Of the declared FPTP results so far, the Nepali Congress has won 18 seats, the CPN-UML has won eight seats and is leading in one constituency, and the Nepali Communist Party has secured seven seats. The Shram Sanskriti Party has won three seats, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has one seat, and independent candidate Mahabir Pun has won from Myagdi.
Under the proportional representation vote count, a total of 9,612,758 votes have been counted so far. The RSP leads with 4,641,131 votes around 48 percent of the valid votes, followed by the Nepali Congress with 1,557,109 votes, and the CPN-UML with 1,299,001 votes.
The Nepali Communist Party has received 700,572 votes, the Shram Sanskriti Party 328,170 votes, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party 305,934 votes. Meanwhile, the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal has secured 151,784 votes, and the Rastriya Pariwartan Party has garnered 148,809 votes in the proportional count.
The results indicate a clear dominance of the RSP, both in the first-past-the-post category and proportional representation, solidifying its position as the largest party in the House of Representatives.
