The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to relieve all seven provincial in-charges of their duties.

A central committee meeting on Tuesday said secretariat members who had been handling provincial responsibilities will no longer serve in that role.

The party will now assign central committee members as provincial in-charges, although replacements have not been named.

The party had appointed Santosh Pariyar in Koshi, Manish Jha in Madhesh, Nima Adhikari in Bagmati, Shishir Khanal in Gandaki, Bipin Acharya in Lumbini, Ganesh Parajuli in Karnali and Hari Dhakal in Sudurpaschim in April.

Pariyar, who was the Koshi provincial in-charge, has already left the party.

The meeting also decided to form rapid action teams in all municipalities for the upcoming elections and instructed provincial and district units to move ahead with preparations.
